AKC® American Kennel Club
In AKC your dog must also be proficient in Birch, Anise and Clove but also Cypress. There is no odor recognition test required for AKC. The elements in AKC are similar with Container, Exterior and Interior however in AKC there is no Vehicle element, instead there is a Buried element.

Like UKC you are not required to pass all four elements in one day to earn a title. You also earn ‘legs’ towards your overall title by passing each element but here you must pass each three times. In addition to earning your overall title once you have 3 passes in each element you will also earn an individual element title for containers, exterior, interior and buried.
Your dog must be registered with AKC in order to participate in their events. Details on how to register and rules specific to AKC title levels can be found here!
